Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a manufacturer located in the Madison area to identify a Controller to join their team.

• This role is not just focused on day to day accounting but also coaching and leading a team. You will work directly with the Director of Finance.

The Controller's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coach and manage at team of 7
• Coordinate and manage the month and financial close process including financial statement management and presentation
• Review and ensure accuracy of all account reconciliations and financial postings
• Manage year end deliverables to third parties
• Oversee opening and close of financial periods
• Provide quarterly reporting to bank
• Assist with ERP implementation
• Assist in Ad-hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications of the Controller:

• Bachelors in Accounting and CPA preferred
• Strong ERP knowledge and experience with implementation
• Background in public and private accounting
• 5+ years of leading an accounting team
